Porty People and Places.

Chilly and clear this morning. It was great weather running on the beach today! I ran past two post boxes on The Promenade - less than a quarter a mile apart. (One of them can be seen in this blip.) I assume they had been built into the walls in the days when postcards were sent from the seaside. On our recent eastern Mediterranean meander I noticed how destitute the postcard sellers had become as no one seems to send postcards anymore - relying on e mailed or face book posts and Blips instead!
