Way to the Bay

A sign of the old times. At one time this sign was outlined with light bulbs and painted yellow and red and the arrow pointed to Birch Bay.

Birch Bay is a wonderful recreation area around the waterline, with cabins, candy stores, boat rentals and picnic tables and camping grounds.
In the good old times, this recreation area was so popular. Old timers often recall those good old days around the bay. Some recall fondly that this is where they met their husband or wife.
A carnival lined the beach and drew people from all over. This makes one sing out " Roll out those lazy days of summer".
