Rooster Strutting

A bit of a wild day - daughter Debbie called up this morning to say she had torn her calf muscle - it just snapped with a loud popping noise and is apparently one of the most painful injuries. She isn't a stranger to this either, she did the other leg about a year ago.
Anyway - I went out and picked her up and took her to the emergency medical place where they put a compression bandage and a moon boot on it and sent her home.

I was headed back into town late this afternoon, my two little doggie charges in the back seat, and decided we should go for walk by the river on the way. A bunch of brightly coloured roosters were strutting their stuff along the river bank. With two dogs on leads in one hand and trusty iphone in the other I somehow managed to get this one handed shot of one of the roosters - looking rightly proud.
