Waiting at the station
Took the train up to Scotland today, to start a week photographing the autumn colours in Perthshire. Kings Cross to Edinburgh was very pleasant, with endless drinks on offer in the first class carriage together with a sandwich, cake and snacks. The change at Edinburgh was rather tight though: it was scheduled for only about 10 minutes and, because our train was around 3 or 4 minutes late getting in, it really was a bit of a rush with our heavy luggage.
We had to make one more change at Perth: nothing special about the station, just a handful of people making the same change as us. This was pretty well the only photograph I took today. By the time we reached Pitlochry, where we were met and driven to our accommodation in Aberfeldy, it was getting dark and it was time to meet up with the rest of the group before going to the restaurant for dinner.
Lookimg forward to tomorrow.
Back blipped because I was without a computer in Scotland, and returned to a faulty desktop computer at home.
