Wet night in Blackpool

It is, as the title suggests, a wet night in Blackpool.

You could be forgiven for thinking it's a lousy night to see the illuminations but you'd be mistaken.

The illuminations in the rain bring an extra dimension. They reflect off the roads so you get even more for your money.

Today has been all about Adam. It is rare that I worry about him all day but it is also rare he feels the need for a fatherly hug.

Today was a day for both.

Adam sat the TSA (thinking skills assessment) for Oxford university today so we have all been on tenterhooks.

He said it was better than he expected. So now we wait for the result.
