Harbour lights.

A friend on fb posted a pic of the harbour lights so whilst Erin and I were out this evening we headed down there. They really do look lovely, we didn't hang around long as it was blowing a hoolie but we were intrigued to see about 20 ducks on the harbour water. Whether this is a normal thing I don't know but I am amazed given how rough it was they weren't more inland.

A good day today, 7 mindees in total throughout the day and all a pleasure to spend time with. Jack was off to karate this afternoon and stayed for a double lesson as come the end of this month if all goes well he will be going for his first (yellow) belt. So proud of him. Oh and speaking of proud I went to their parents evening and oh my goodness I could burst with pride. They are both in the high level of their work. Jack is excelling in mental arithmetic and Erin is all round clever. The teacher has said she is so clever that if she carries on the way she has since starting school then by the end of this school year she will already be grading as high as the year above her. Just pray that through the years school can hold her interest.

Bit of excitement for me tonight as I got my tickets to see Jon Richardson when he comes to Lyme on the 17th of this month. I think he is so funny and I can't wait to go with Paul and Jaynee and her husband. Maybe if I ask nicely I may get to blip him. ;-)
