Framed

It has rained virtually all day. I have been indoors as much as possible.

While looking out at the back of the house, I realised that our maple tree was beautifully framed by the window. And the odds and ends on the window sill made it all homely; and the red of the cushion matched the colour of the leaves.

Today, it was far better to be inside looking out than to be outside looking in
