It's British Sausage Week.

In celebration of the great British pork sausage.

So, as Mrs DD was out this evening with the girls from work, I was left to look after myself. And how well did I do?

British pork sausages, Tesco's finest no less - I know I should have gone to a local butcher but I did not have time - free range eggs and, the only down side, skinny french fries! Not a proper chip in sight in the freezer.

And the butties are done for tomorrow. Smoked salmon I'll have you know.

And the porridge on for the morning in the slow cooker.

Just hope my son does not miss out on the sausage week.

Off to bed now with a good book.

PS. May need a bigger set of scales to weigh myself after that lot!
