Not Thursday
'The EXIF data within your image tells us it was taken on Wednesday, 6th November 2013.'
Hate when that happens, so thought it was Thursday.
Thanks first to all those on here, or through here, that clicked on the image (coming to a postcard soon) I had entered into Stirling Council's Homecoming photography competition and helped it come out on top. Despite being hyper-cynical about these type of click 'Like' to vote competitions which rely on how many friends contacts someone might have or might be able to gather during the voting process, it turns out I was wrong to doubt. Obviously. It was still a strange experience with some oddly unconsidered and random comments appearing calling into question the authenticity of my shot (in amongst some really nice comments too) by some self-appointed shit-in-your-shoes type folk. Social media can be a silly place sometimes.
However, every 'Like' was appreciated, every 'Share' even more so. Ta.
Two blippers in the top 3 too; well done to AndyCabb and his fine effort.
Stopped here at lunchtime between jobs, squeezed in the layby between a Welsh and an English tourist bus eating my New York Deli sandwich and snapped one of Scotland's most iconic castle views. It's the gift that just keeps on giving.
