The shot that broke the camera!

A long shift today, I saw the sun rise and set through the windscreen. Never mind, two more days and I have a long weekend off.

On my break this afternoon, I was watching this digger at the old bus station but to get a decent shot of it, I had to squeeze the camera through the mesh of the temporary fence that has been put up. It seemed to work ok but my fingers were cold and I dropped the camera. It is now dead. The only good bit is the fact that it was not my good one, just a wee compact I carry in my pocket at work.

I will just have to use my mobile phone for the moment, there again, where did I put that Amazon voucher?
