Family Plot

From the County Road in Reddick this graveyard looks like most modern cemeteries, well maintained with evenly spaced plots laid out in straight lines and low to the ground markers. A side road, however, leads to the original and much older section where members of the family who donated the land were buried. More interesting to my mind with more to wonder about - the stories these old souls could tell if only they could.

I headed home once I had a few cemetery pics in camera and saw the thumbnail for this image. For some reason it struck a chord - something to do with my mood I suppose, a bit dark and introspective.
