Afternoon T!

Well, almost! I was up in Manchester this afternoon for a work meeting and was recommended the Richmond Tea Rooms just around the corner from where I was meant to be.

It was too busy at lunch time so I called in after the meeting. I only had tea (Earl Grey) and cake as I'd already scoffed a (small) pizza for my lunch. So I couldn't possibly comment on how good the afternoon tea is, but it's a gem of a place and slightly out of the ordinary.

The interior is quite red and velvety with hints of Alice in Wonderland. A world away from the soggy weather outside.

This shot was taken around 4.30pm, so the light is just starting to fade - or rather get darker. It hasn't been a particularly bright day at all.
