Penguins always turn up when you're not expecting them.

A quick trip into town for an emergency shirt shop. Little Miss B did her best to get lost by playing hide and seek between the clothes rails, but I could easily enough track her down from the looks of amusement (or disapproval, bah humbug) on other peoples faces.

Back to the house on the hill, and as LMB said "It's much more colder at our house". Not quite as cold as yesterday mind. We've had to put bagpuss in "the warming machine" (microwave) the last few nights. It's ok - he's designed to be microwaved. Sidney (the real cat) on the other hand almost got himself tumble dried this morning - he's not designed for that.
