Caught in the Act

I managed to capture the two little deer in the field next to my garden this morning. I can't imagine this will ever be my best ever photo of them, but it's my first.

When I drove back up the drive they were hiding behind the fence but one of them moved and I caught a glimpse out of the side of my eye.

They moved away when I stopped the car but not far enough that I couldn't see them and hey presto, dirty shoes and all I managed my first sneak preview of our morning visitors.

I'll keep a watchful eye for better captures of them up to their usual antics. They're really quite funny.
