Budget Bonfire Night

A budget Guy Fawkes celebration has become the norm in our house. It's not because we're particularly tight about such things, but more because we have to seek out a selection of fireworks with limited loud noises due to an overly sensitive 6 year old.

Armed with our £10.00 box of fireworks and £1.00 pack of sparklers we rocked the neighbourhood with 19 different variations of fountains which all had fabulous names but predictably all looked the same.

Big faux pas however when it turned out that 'Sand Storm' did emit a loud crackle which sent Izzy retreating to the living room.

No straying Catherine Wheels this year, so I guess we can call it a success!
