Oh dear what have we started here! Mike did a roast tonight for dinner and Tobes was insistent that Bits needed some carrots. And his own plate. Where will it end!

Had an absolutely rubbish day. Got most of Lime clipped, gave him the Sedolin sedative 30 mins before I needed to do his legs as he just wont let me do them otherwise. Last time he went droopy after 3ml. This time nothing happened after 3ml. He'd let me do so far down his leg and he has a lot of feather so he just had these shaved skinny legs with a fan of hair around the bottom. He looked ridiculous!! So I gave him a bit more and nothing! Then a bit more in desperation until he'd had 6ml in total and I had finished off the syringe. Anyway I found out when it was too late that if the horse gets hyped up then the sedolin has no effect! And there was a loose horse on the yard just before I started clipping which caused much excitement. I had a team of helpers holding up legs whilst I tried to clip but Lime found he could hop about on 3 legs. So in the end I had to admit defeat and leave it. He looks so ridiculous :0( Poor Limey. I spent most of the day at the yard and felt really annoyed that I still hadn't got it done. Don't know when I am going to get chance to finish it off!!
