Peoplehood

My neighborhood is becoming a bit of a cultural Mecca. Here's another example: The Peoplehood Parade, which ends with this little performance in the park. Puppet making has been part of the local arts & radical scenes since before I arrived. This particular project is at least fifteen years old and started very small, with no funding but the artists' food money. It certainly has come into its own!

I am very grateful for all the good wishes I have received on the occasion of my 1000th blip yesterday. It's made the spotlight and was favorited too!
