Phallus impudicus

Chirk today for a muddy walk through the woods. The stinkhorn was living up to its name and enabled me to locate it fairly easily. I met a gentleman who directed me to a tree trunk, a metre across with the top completely covered with Coprinus. I also found a yellow fungus that looks like miniature hedgehogs.
