Jedward The New Kunekune Pig!! (to The Left)

Today we had a delivery of 2 rescued Kunekune's, the one on the left is one. Their names are jedward 1 and 2. They are so lovely but have been very neglected they have bald patches and I think we're gonna have to get their feet clipped, once they're settled we'll get the vet to come out and give them a medical. I don't think they can quite believe their luck, they're just wandering around, digging all the grass up!!

There have been a few scraps between them all those being penny and patch who do not like them and usually start by nipping at their back legs, but to to give them their due they ignore them for a little while but then they tell them. Pepper however couldn't give a toss and anything for a quiet life. I said to Glenn I'm concerned we'll get up in the morning and it'll be a blood bath, so about half an hour ago we went across the field in the dark, if the 2 new ones were still outside we were going to put them in a stable, if they were all snuggled up in the Ark they were to be left!! Thankfully they were all snuggled up, because I'm not sure we would have managed so easily in getting them across the field in the pitch black with only a torch and a bucket of food, although it would have made a funny tale!!

Like all animal introductions it'll take a few days for them to all settle in, at least we have the option of putting them in a stable and do it gradually.

Another day in the life of a ninja who actually hasn't got time to practice being a ninja farmer!!
