No turning back now.... my life has irreversibly changed for ever.

I spoke to my mate Craig last night, someone I've known for 95% of my life. We spoke at length about relationship, pensions, the national trust, careers and politics.

Fifteen years ago we were guzzling copious amounts of alcohol and going to extreme lengths to talk about everything but the above topics.

Today I resigned from my position as Lincoln City mascot Poacher after 16 years, and Friday I'll be on Radio Lincolnshire discussing it with the county. By next weekend I'll no longer be a Lincolnshire resident for the first time in my life.

No matter what changes though, one thing remains the same: I will still hate The Sun newspaper.
