packing on the pounds

The temps have dropped into the 30's F at night during the last week, and the squirrels are putting on their winter coats.
Not only are they looking more robust, but their fur seems a bit fuzzier, too.
And just so you know, Laney and I are doing our part in winterizing the squirrels.
Laney loves to watch the squirrels come to the door for peanuts, so I am feeding them many times throughout the day, instead of just in the morning. I call it "turning on the squirrel TV" for Laney.
And every now and then Laney charges at the squirrels through the glass door, so maybe that is causing the fuzzy look.
