Back home
I left Tricia in Stirling catching a bus to visit her mother and drove across Scotland to catch the ferry from Uig to Lochmaddy. Surprising how long it can take to cross Scotland.
Overnight the first snow had fallen on the mountains and sections of the drive were spectacular. That said the view from the doorstep of our house as I arrived back at the house was as impressive as any.
After the Rayburn was lit from our (diminishing) peat stack it was good to be back home!
