Joey Dunlop...

I grew up outside the small village of Armoy which became famous because Joey Dunlop also lived there!! He was a motorbike legend and won many of the great road races, the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200 and others. Sadly he was killed in the year 2000 at a race in Estonia.

Today I had to go to the doctor for four boosters of lovely things like tetanus and hepatitis in Ballymoney. There is a memorial garden which has this statue of Joey and I had never been to visit it before, so now that I am a tourist I took a photo!!

Not feeling so good this evening - I think I have a slight dose of all the things I was injected with today!!
