Broom seeds & flower.

These plants are a weed, but always look bright and cheerful. Noticed these seed pods on a branch overhanging the road.
Took the pups for a walk this morning, took us 2 hours. Just before I got home, I realised I had lost my lens cap, so had to turn around and go back for about 10 minutes. Found it where I had tried to lift Poppy down off a bank that had lots of dead gorse on it. Second time I have dropped it. Hopefully, that's the last.
Put some bets on a couple of horses for the Melbourne Cup, but enough to say - we are going to have to keep working!!
