White as Snow

It was a gorgeous winter wonderland in a small crescent of our city. The trees were magnificent, their boughs covered with sparkling snow. There are many shades of white, but I think white as snow is an apt description for pure white. In contrast, the sky was pure blue, providing a colorful backdrop for the snowy trees.
