Departures...

Chris and Lizzy are finally on their way to Delhi. We drove them down to Heathrow, leaving in plenty of time to avoid any possible hold-ups on the M25. There was an accident on the northbound M1 which had caused some horrendous tailbacks, but we had a trouble-free journey and arrived at Terminal 3 just after sunset. This view was taken rather hurriedly from the car-park!

This is a rather different sort of blip for me, and the title has a certain resonance because I've been contemplating a break from blipping, thanks to a recent absence of time and photographic inspiration. Three years is a long time to have taken a photograph nearly every day (though I've lapsed somewhat recently) and I'm now finding it quite hard to find readily available subject matter. But for the meantime I'll be staying, as blipping provides a good way for my absent family to stay in touch. And a shift of emphasis might even help me re-capture my mojo!
