A Party in the Dirty Delta

Well, here's the thing about spontaneous guys who like to fly. They don't sit still for very long.

We didn't end up staying the night in Lake Tahoe. We hung out for the day with Steve's mom and helped close up their cabin. We ate a great dinner with his family and neighbors and then took off for a close of season Labor Day Party with some of their friends in the "Dirty Delta." I think it's located in Byron, CA.

We took off from Lake Tahoe around 10:30pm and landed in Byron around 11:15. We had some of their friends pick us up and they took us to their party happening in the middle of nowhere. It was great! A bonfire, a band and good people all around who were just dancing and having a good time.

Since I was working off my phone sans flash this is the best pic I could get of the band jamming away. We ended up staying up until 3 or 4 in the morning just hanging out and having a good ole time. When we woke up in the morning we flew back to Palo Alto and now I'm exhausted!

It was one heck of a 24 hours but a very good one at that!
