Early Evening in San Francisco or Brighton?

Maybe I am stretching my imagination somewhat but these houses do remind me of some of the homes in San Francisco. I therefore snapped them on my way to the local shop. I cannot believe that it was only 6 p.m. Felt like midnight.

Not much time for photography today as I spent a chunk of the day at the airport waving youngest son off on his solo adventure, then spent the second part of the day feeling very weird about the fact that he had gone. The only good thing to come out of this is that I then used the afternoon to catch up on an enormous backlog of paperwork. Oh that felt so good.
