Labor Day
Just another day of labor for me. Painting Day #7 finds me with sore shoulder muscles, but still in a cheerful mood as almost all the walls are in their final cover of color. The kitchen is finished! Well, except the trim needs to be done. But at least it is cleaned up and doesn't look like a tornado had paid a visit.
We grilled pizza for dinner tonight. We are thinking we don't need to fly to Italy for authentic pizza anymore. It is sooooo easy to make and tastes out of this world. Wish we figured this out decades ago. For those who need to know, make up your dough as usual. Prepare all your toppings and have them waiting next to the grill. Flatten dough and transfer to the grill. Wait about 3-4 minutes to just brown the bottom, then flip. Load up your pizza with toppings and lower the lid for perhaps 10 minutes. Check on it and when it's all cheesy and gooey, it should be finished. The bottom should be a deep golden brown. The crust is thin and crunchy. Just like real Italian pizza.
Bon Appetito!
