A spooky New York!
Today, we drove from The Cape down to New York. Quite a drive at 5 hours! But we made it in one piece, and thank goodness my husband drove in Manhattan - my nerves wouldn't have taken it!
The drive down was beautiful - the fall colors in total bloom (is that possible?!) The colours really are spectacular, and my dear old Dad so wanted to see them, so I am holding the memories for him. See here for a flash of fall.
As we arrived into New York, it was overcast with a foggy outlook - seeing as it was Halloween it was rather eerie! I liked as it reminds me of those old shots you got. See
We headed out to Greenwich for the rather fabulous halloween parade and a spot of trick or treating. The kids seemingly like 'candy' as much as 'sweets'! Nothing lost in translation! The parade was amazing - puppets, lights, music, performers , and lots of dressed up folk.
New York was completely alive on Halloween night - I don't think I saw a single soul who wasn't dressed up!here
