Hembury Woods

Lady Marian and I went for a walk at Hembury Woods by the River Dart this afternoon. It's a National Trust woodland with oaks and beech in the main (they have dormice there too). It was a bit boggy after all the rain and we hadn't taken our wellies but we managed. There was some lovely colour in the trees in places and where the sun shone through it was very beautiful.

I'll be out jamming tonight. I've got a bit of a throat but I'm sure I'll survive even if I sing even more husky than usual.
