A Patient Angler.
An unusually high tide this morning combined with a blue sky tempted us to take a stroll down the pier. Anybody who is familiar with the coast at Southport knows that the waves seldom reach the promenade.
We don't have a blue sea we have a brown one, due to the shallow sandy shore getting churned up by the waves, however the water quality is pretty good.
This angler was taking advantage of the conditions and enjoying the November sunshine at the end of the pier.
A few more shots are here.
