Rescued . . .

A wet, wild and windy day so I cut these and brought them in before they got too battered!

I settled down to a day morning of baking, with Radio 4 for company, while Himself tackled the floor in the utility room then started on the paintwork. Not the weather for outside jobs!

Farmer friend, ex local doctor, then appeared with half a lamb for the deep freeze so he stayed for coffee and cake. Heard he'd delivered the other half to another friend beforehand and she'd given him home made soup! Wise man to make deliveries on a wet and miserable day when everyone would be busy in their kitchens!
