Check Mate!

I'm forever double, treble etc checking I've switched off the lights, locked the door and so on. I suspect being superstitious is part of the same thing.
Anyway, I was last to leave home this morning. About a mile from the house, I thought, "Did I switch the cooker off?"
Oh dear. Two choices. Do I just leave it and worry about it at the back of my mind all morning or do I go back and check?
No choice really!
I suppose the worst was about twenty years ago when we went camping. (I never liked camping much!) After we arrived, I took it into my head that I had left the shower on. Again, do I just leave it or do I go back and check?
Again, no choice.
A six hour return journey ensued to make sure. I've never told anyone if it was on or not.
And I'm not going to start now!
Quite a rough sea at Macduff this morning.

Hobotalk are my link for today. They were a Scottish group and I saw them a couple of times about six years ago. Quite laid back music with almost a jazzy feel at times.
I used to listen to this track Little Light a great deal and it was almost like a mantra.
