Fun Run

Thank you to Kazuko for today's blip. I had hoped to run with Arthur in the Nishinomiya Family Fun Run. Unfortunately, today's event coincided with the Parent-Teacher conference day so I was unable to get the day off. So Arthur ran by himself with plenty of support from the sidelines from Kazuko, Valerie, Auntie Fuki and Grandad Kazutoshi. He made good time, better than any training time, finishing the three kilometres run in fifteen minutes. Inspired by his success, I ran ten kilometres in fifty-nine minutes this evening. I'm happy with anything under one hour and, after being unable to run for over one week now, I was pleased to find I can still make good time with my marathon coming up in thirteen days.
