Portland's Museum of Modern ARt

this was the best part of the Portland Art Museum.

This was the elevator interior. The rest of the museum was the usual junk that passes for modern art in public collections... (who could spend money on THAT?!?!)

Don't get me wrong. I love modern art, and I know it when I see it... but apparently the museum staff in Portland do not.

The building was very nice. Arty, even. More artful than the stuff hung on the walls or strewn around the floors.
