Classical/antique fixtures and fittings!

I had a very home based day today and I didn't actually leave the house at all.

I took various photos of 'things' and spent some time learning how to play with them on the computer. I realised that there is a lot of refining that can be done!

I am rather fond of this very old cistern which was found in the outdoor loo (which is now a shed) and moved into the laundry/utility room where it continues to function perfectly! It was made locally but I have no idea of the date of its manufacture, I'm pretty sure the house was built before the loo was added as an extra building behind the original scullery (where, funnily enough, the loo is now!)
