planted Edge

Day 9 of the fishless cycle, and day 1 of the first stage of planting for my new Fluval Edge 22 litre nano tank.

I'm not turning the CO2 on for another couple of weeks yet until the cycling has finished, plus I also need to figure out what lighting mods to make first so I can light the tank up properly and get some nice light-loving carpeting plants tweezered in. It took me three hours to get this far this afternoon, and a lot of snapped stems, but I'm happy with it so far as it's pretty close to how I imagined it (which is no mean feat given the ludicrously small access opening this tank is famous for).

Fish and shrimps should be swimming around in the next three weeks. To be continued...
