Ben Lawers from Balluderon Hill

We were orienteering today on Balkello Hill at the Scottish Score Championships. After my run, I went for a walk up to the memorial for Syd Scroggie on Balluderon Hill, to look at the view. He was a blind hillwalker and poet, who loved the hills despite not being able to see the views; a really inspirational man.
I always get excited when the first real snows of the autumn arrive, and had noticed the snowy hills to the north and west when out on my course. This isn't a great photograph, but it shows the Ben Lawers range above Loch Tay, well covered in snow. After yesterday's bad weather it would have been great to be up there.
