Kigali.. Nairobi

Said goodbye to my tentie/roomie Angela as she flew off to Zanzibar for her relaxing break.

Jackie Stuart and I went to the genocide museum/Memorial centreI have to admit that I knew very little of the history of Rwanda until I walked around the exhibitions, which were both sobering and inspiring - the brutality was shocking, especially the children's room dedicated to those lost, but the inspiration comes from how the nation has lifted itself since and the tales of selflessness and bravery that some showed.

We had a brief walk around the gardens to collect our thoughts then joined the rest of our group at the Hotel Milles de Collines where we had lunch, taxi back to our hotel Beausejour to pack up and have the last photo session with the crew. A fantastic group of guys who looked after us so well.. Ben, Ken, Wycliff and Lelei.

Flight to Nairobi and then onto our flights home..
