The Mother City
Best of a bad lot today. I brought my polariser (thanks RP1) out to play, but it was already too late in the day. My first few shots, taken after a warm swim at Clifton 4th beach were great, but they were only experiments and not blippable. Afterwards, I headed up to Signal Hill to catch the Remains of the Day Tay, but it was already too dark for a polariser. On my way back down after a(nother) dramatic sunset, I glanced around and saw the glittering city below--I snapped this quickly, without a tripod, but I like it. Those are wild geraniums in the foreground.
It's quieter around here now that the visitors are gone--I spent most of the day devouring an entire novel.
