Basking...

Today was a beauiful sunny day, but very cold compared to what it has been. In the afternoon sunshine it was 6 degrees centigrade, but it had dropped to 2 degrees by the time I got home at 6.15. It will be frosty overnight.
I always take my Mum out on a Sunday, and today we headed to the garden centres of the Clyde valley. We decided to stop at the one at Garrion Bridge, which we hadn't been to for years. It had got a bit run down. Happily that is no longer the case. It has been "done up" and was full of interesting and unusual retail outlets. I even managed to get some Christmas shopping in and got a lovely present for an old friend that I know she will just love...
In the garden centre, we met this little chap basking in the heat of his sun lamp... a creature after my own heart!
