Arnprior Landscape

On the trip north today the rain clouds had cleared and the landscape views were brilliant. I love this high viewpoint just before the village of Arnprior, Stirlingshire, where the farmland sweeps north to the Trossachs peaks.
The trees split up the horizontal lines and lead the eye to the distant hills. Further on there was a smattering of snow on the mountains, although the trees are still amazingly green in some places. However, in Dunkeld it looked very autumnal as the dying light illuminated the orange foliage of the ancient estate woodland.
