Celebratory chocs

What a day! I interviewed seven candidates for a role in the team and then after a late lunch I was straight in to be interviewed for my job. It was a very strange experience for all involved as I have been doing the job for the last ten months. I was offered the post after a short wait and subject to the contract negotiation have accepted. It's a real weight off my mind but I was shattered at the end of the day.

When I got home I crashed out straight away for a few hours so didn't quite have the celebratory evening I would have liked. Mum had left us a box of my fav chocs yesterday so this was as exciting as it got!
