second attempt...

another day out of the mud room....i'm getting so smart!!!!

spent the morning watching an instructional video of margaret evens - apart from loving that she has a Scottish accent, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy....she has a very loose and free way of painting with pastels. some of the images seen here don't really show that, but the one i was watching this morning was beautiful in its impressionistic feel.

So now i've taken one of her moods really, and will try different approach on the same composition again. this is using pressed water colour paper, spreading pastel into the areas and then wetting them down with water. not sure how much i'll get done today, or even this week...but i wanted to record the beginning.
