A patient Heron

I was out in Crammond with the kids, while their Mum was doing rehearsals for her theatre production. It also meant some quiet contemplative time with the tripod and neutral density filter, while keeping half an eye out that the kids weren't going to fall into the river. This Heron was photographed by pretty much everyone with a camera who passed by this spot near one of the waterfalls. I liked how it stood still enough for a 2.5 seconds exposure!
