Autumn trees

Last Wednesday I took a photo of the golden trees here so I was disappointed to discover that the winds of the last few days had blown many of them away. This was taken looking towards the riverbank from which this this was taken almost 6 months ago. Meanwhile passengers in the aeroplane can probably see the distant snow covered mountain tops as they make the approach into Edinburgh.
