It's not the way you lead me by the hand...

If you haven't already, you should look up "Christian Nock". Christian is a ex-soldier who after leaving the Army and falling into debt, found himself homeless.

In order to bring the predicament of homeless service men to the public attention, Christian started last August (2012) to walk round the coast of Great Britain. He started in Blackpool and headed South.

I've Been following Christian since London time I think, and watched his progress, and his increasingly aching feet and heart all the way round to his stopping off place now; the Isle of Skye.

He never sleeps in houses. When he started he was literally sleeping rough. Under bridges, under a tarp. As his walk became more publicised, the public have come into their own... most nights Christian has a shed, or a workhouse, or garage to sleep in. the Public have been keeping him going with meals at different stop off points, the "occasional" pint, and a hand carrying his big bag from one place to the next.

When the sky looks like this though, I wonder about him tramping along worn footpaths, getting soaked on an hourly basis. I've put my name down to help out when he gets within range of me... I hope that you will too.
