House repairs

Our house repairs and renovations are going well.

Last weekend we met Tony Aldridge, on his fifth walk through Mt Pleasant. Tony is a statistician, and displaced Mt Pleasant resident who is gathering data on the progress of the rebuild in our suburb. He has recorded repairs, demolitions, and rebuilds, and our house is recorded as a repair. An article on the project was published in the Christchurch Press a little while ago. Although things are moving a bit faster now, Tony's figures showed that the rate of progress was much slower than official figures indicated. We look forward to seeing his latest update.
