50 Sense

What the hell was I thinking... Taking a 50mm lens (on a crop sensor body!) to a fireworks display...

That'll probably not teach me...

Kenilworth Fireworks Display with Eve, Axel, Shane, Mahfood, Anu and Emma this evening. Most impressive and lots of fun although I suffered from Photography-itis whereby you're too busy tying to capture the moment that you end up not paying enough attention the actual moment. The bits where I was paying attention though were truly spectacular and that's coming from someone who lives near Lewes and so gets to witness the famous Lewes Bonfire Fireworks every year.

Afterwards we headed back to the Photo-flat and started watching Despicable Me but I had to scoot 1/2 way through as an early start tomorrow morning was calling my name.

This is a truly terrible photo of fireworks. About it's only redeeming feature is the fact that it's a bit scary. Not that good, though.
